Terms & Conditions of Booking
Arctic Beaver is a trading name for Delicious Dining Ltd, registered company 5640505. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings with Arctic Beaver.
1. RESPONSIBILITY
Arctic Beaver is a booking agent that acts on behalf of chalet and apartment owners. Arctic Beaver are responsible for marketing their properties, and dealing with enquiries up until the point of sale. At this point, we pass on all information to the owner, who then assumes responsibility for confirming the booking and the subsequent provision of the holiday. Arctic Beaver assumes no responsibility for this provision.
Once the booking has been confirmed, Arctic Beaver may contact the client to discuss any additional services that may be required.
2. PAYMENTS
Holiday payments are made directly to the property owners and not to Arctic Beaver.
Any additional services provided by Arctic Beaver, such as the purchasing of lift passes, arrangement of ski lessons, private chefs etc will be payable to Arctic Beaver upon arrival in resort.
3. Cancellations & Charges
If you are obliged to cancel your holiday, charges will be incurred as set out by the property owners in their Terms and Conditions of Sale.
If in the unlikely event that Arctic Beaver has to make a cancellation or change to the holiday, then Arctic Beaver will make an offer of one of the following, as applicable:
- To accept the new holiday arrangements.
- To accept an alternative, at no extra cost.
- To cancel the holiday, and receive a full refund with respect to the booking made with Arctic Beaver. Arctic Beaver will accept no responsibility for any other expenses incurred as a result of the booking.
4. Personal Insurance
Before coming on holiday with Arctic Beaver Ltd, all persons must
be covered with suitable winter sports travel insurance, including
medical and winter sports cover. It is the responsibility of every
guest to ensure that their own insurance policy covers all elements
of their holiday. Arctic Beaver Ltd will not take responsibility for
guests whose insurance policies do not provide sufficient cover for
their requirements. Guests could be required to show their insurance
policy documents on arrival in resort. Guests without proof of sufficient
cover will be obliged to find a suitable insurance policy immediately.
Arctic Beaver Ltd will not be held responsible for any incident that
occurs whilst a guest has insufficient insurance cover.
5. Sport
Arctic Beaver accept your booking on the understanding that you recognise
the hazards involved in a winter sports holiday. We cannot be made
responsible for injury sustained at any time during the holiday, however
it is caused. Every guest must consider the risks, make their own
judgements and act accordingly at all times. Arctic Beaver Ltd cannot
be made responsible for any inconvenience caused by factors out of
their control, such as adverse weather conditions or poor snow conditions.
6. Chalet Accommodation
Arctic Beaver Ltd reserves the right to change the chalet accommodation
each season, without informing guests beforehand. Arctic Beaver. will
always ensure that the same high level quality of chalet accommodation
is maintained.
